Jesara had her long hair cut off; something I never expected Theresa to allow, let alone suggest. But short hair is easier to manage and her severed locks have been given to a wig maker so that another girl who has lost her hair to chemotherapy can have Barbie-like hair.

As part of my Advanced Higher Art course, I’ve been studying a couple of photographers, one of them being Diane Arbus, and this is one of my final images that was inspired by her work.

and this is Robert. In a wig, dress, push up bra, makeup & heels. So much love for the boy haha!

Nothing looks worse on camera than a badly-done false moustache. Facial hair is one of the most challenging and detail-oriented tasks that a makeup artist is expected to perform on set. Hair laying and wigs have to be perfect every time, every take, every day. If you can master hair laying, then you have a job for life. Students learn how to hand-lay a beard using wool crepe, yak and also human hair, as well as how to “float” a pre-made, hand-laid beard, applying it as a whole piece to a performer.

Wigs will not only get snatched, but bitches will be BALD when this album drops. And you can bet Britney will barely do a thing to have wigs, weaves and hair pieces clutched in her hands.

frankie finally has her own hair!

After years of wearing wigs Frankie finally has her own hair. I got a ginger scalp that had the flange completely cut off, it’s held on her head with white glue & double sided carpet tape. Everything with this doll is revisable at this point. It took me forever to figure out how to get the scalp to stay on without any flange, but because Frankie has been Frankensteined out of bit’s and pieces of broken dolls she has no front to her dome. I was then able to use the carpet tape to hold the front in place while using the white glue to hold the rest of the scalp in place. I used the puchi collective tutorial to cut her bangs, they still need to be trimmed a bit straighter but it looks good to me, next I need to do her lips
