ok we are having a school dance out our school this friday and our theme is Hollywood (dress like your favorite celebrity) and im gonna dress up like kurt cobain lol because it would be fun(im a girl by the way) im gonna wear a sweater jacket (kurt wore those) with a nirvana shirt on under and torn up jeans a blonde short haired wig( like Kurt’s hair) and the glasses he wore in the in bloom video and im gonna put on heavy black makeup lol( so it won’t look really girly)

I’m looking for a female celebrity to dress up as for halloween. I’m brunette (but I could get a wig or spray-in dye) and my friends are going as Amy Winehouse, Avril Lavigne and…well, we have to get one for my other friend. We’re thinking of Marilyn Monroe, Jordan (Katie Price), Kylie, Victoria Beckham, etc. Please leave any ideas about HOW to dress up as these people as well as WHO to dress up as! Please, no Hannah Montana or fictional characters.

I’m making a Ramona Flowers costume, and I have some choices.
I really want to do the outfit with her green hair during the movie, but I can’t find any pictures on how to recreate it. Can anyone tell me what she was wearing during during Scott and Gideon’s fight scene? And i’m junior’s size btw.
But this is also important. My mom won’t let me dye my hair, so i’m going to need either a blue, green or pink wig, depending on the outfit i’m doing. If you could tell me where to find one, that’d be great. Short ones are good, but please long enough so i can cut it for the long pieces in front.

SO my friends and i planned to be a group of nerds this year. it’s an unoriginal idea so i decided to spice it up by adding pieces of lady gaga into it for a funky cool vibe. kinda like a nerd-fan of lady gaga?
so i got a six dollar wig from walmart to co-splay lady gaga with. should i boil it to get it curlier? or would that ruin the wig? i’m aiming for a bad romance hair look.
for the outfit, i plan to get a lady gaga shirt and suspenders and shorts.
my school requires closed toed shoes so i’m thinking tube socks? what kind of socks & shoes would suit this costume?
accessories? maybe nerd glasses with little cut up mirrored pieces on it?
& MOST IMPORTANTLY, MAKEUP. i need to do the the thunderbolt, that’s her trademark! so do i do the thunderbolt with makeup or a certain material?

The boyfriend and I are going as a modernized Raggedy Ann and Andy. For his yarn wig, I’d like to fabricate a mohawk. Any ideas on what to use and how to use it? I was thinking of forming a piece of fabric to fit his head and then sewing the hair on, then using glue to make it stand up, without it looking flaky.

Ok, my friends and I are going trick-or-treating as a group. One of my friends decided that her and I are going as Bradgelina. I’m going to be Brad. I was planning on wearing a white shirt that says “Bradgelina,” an inflatable muscle suit, to put under, jeans, black cowboy boots, aviator sunglasses, and a wig. Where can i find these items? I already have some cowboy boots, I could make a shirt easily, and I obviously own some jeans. But I want to know where to find everything else. Help! Oh, and no eBay.
