I decided to try to take pictures by candlelight for Halloween! They came out a little dark, but not too badly for my first try! ^_^
Virginie is wearing an outfit designed by Val Zeitler and made by Dollheart. Her wig is made by Volks, and the background is a beautiful Halloween throw I found at the Cracker Barrel. It’s hard to see, but she’s holding the black version of her Lambie.

A shot of me, taken by Johnny Doome for Halloween!
Used extra lighting which caused the shadow on the chest which i did clone out, but i wanted to leave the shot un-edited, so here is the original.
The shots were supposed to be menacing, but we decided that i didn’t quite pull off that look.
Still, looks are truly deceiving. I think it looks kind of seductive.

The Señorita’s Rose

Well the story behind this was simple. A person on deviantART, which I’ll remain nameless for obvious reasons. decided to spew crap about my costume pics and how unoriginal I was.
So in response to that, I decided to get crafty with my Señorita costume, some stock images and my JVC HD camcorder and with a bit of Photoshop Elements work, made a piece titled "The Señorita’s Rose".
The basis behind this work is simple. It involves me in costume (wig and all), lying down on my back then applying some stock pics of a fountain and a rose to make it look like I’m in the fountain.
This took a lot of time to make, but hopefully should prove a point to the critics, haters and trolls who get on my nerves.

A while back I photographed some of my old cassettes now inhabiting a Tupperware container in the basement. Some of them I bought used, others I ordered via snail mail during my full music immersion in the 90′s. Each saw the innards of my old truck’s cassette deck and a pair of cheap headphones. I surely don’t miss the quality of this format or constantly tightening the tape with my fingers, but I do miss looking at them on the seat of my truck and bedroom floor.
